I still can’t believe that I spent my birthday in Paris this year!! WOW! What an experience.
Anyway, I ended up snapping so many pictures of the Eiffel Tower (which, btw… is why Joe insisted I have a “digital” camera and not film 🙂 ), it was as though I thought it were going to change in some way from the previous second – when I snapped the other 30 photos (I’m sure you’ve been there…right!?) But I thought it would be fun to play with them in Lighroom to see what I could come up with. I’ve had so much fun experimenting with different editing tools that I thought I’d share some of them here. These are just a “few” of my favorites.
This one ^^^ might be my favorite- but only because it has that old time vintage feel. And you know I LOVE all things vintage! 🙂
Once we had crossed the river, I saw there were MANY more photo opportunities, but we were on our way to catch our nighttime tour bus and we didn’t have a second to spare. Amanda was literally dragging me by the arm as I snapped away. This was only moments before it started to pour down rain! We were so grateful we were able to capture the pictures that we did. (Thank you!!)
I only had my 35mm fixed lens with me because if you remember from my previous post, I was traveling very light. Well, I was attempting to travel light anyway- forget the 50 lb. suitcase I was cussing every time I had to drag it somewhere (which was OFTEN and usually up 20 flights of stairs!! It’s really no wonder all of the Europeans we saw were so slim and shapely!) Next time though…next time I’m taking some gear!
Black & white or color? I really love both. You?

Me too! I really fell in love with black and white years ago. Sometimes it’s hard to choose!
