I embrace the pause with my camera, long walks (preferably on the beach or in the woods). With my journal and a super juicy pen, with a great book, with a great friend. Around a fire with my feet up or dug into the sand, with a hot bubble bath, a glass of wine, gazing up at the stars, enjoying a good meal, perusing the aisles of an antique store, lighting a candle, saying a prayer, and taking a nap. Or sometimes I just veg out in front of the television. That’s how I embrace the pause. It’s all good. Every last bit of it.
