So proud to have been a part of this event! “Over 400 people and 100 businesses showed up to support the evening. We started the night at $146,000 raised through sponsorships and were able to end the evening with a total raised of $219,845. It is because of your generosity that we can continue pursuing initiatives to protect children and impact lives. The success of this event is a testament to your courage. “Love the new video! It may or may not feel like it now, but making the videos and blogs is very therapeutic for you. To tell his story from what you know of it….to not let his memory just fade into nothingness…it’s important! It matters. He lived and then his life was cut short. Not because he wanted it to be….he no longer had a choice to live because he couldn’t live in peace. Someone a long time ago set that course in motion. They took the longevity of his life away from him it was all stolen. So you have to be a truth-teller and make the lasting imprint that you can! That’s your purpose. Or at least part of it. Doing things this week that are a part of the heal

Doing things this week that are a part of the healing journey. Take care of yourself and do what your heart is calling you to do. For me: Lighting candles (always), baking, listening to music, and just standing still. I even cooked a little. (That's progress.) And who doesn't love playing is some hot soapy water. The bathtub (obviously) is always the best, and yet there's still something about a (small) sink of fresh bubbles and the hottest of water. Are you listening to the whispers of your heart, too? Do tell.
