Here it is November 2, already. I don't know why I'm always surprised that time seems to pass so quickly. Every year it arrives sooner than I expect. Fall and the color, I think, came early this year. There may be a few leaves hanging on but the fields have all been harvested and Halloween is over. It's time to start thinking about food and gatherings.

It is (September-December) my favorite time of the year. I've been very nostalgic lately and missing so much. It always happens during this season of color and lights. Nesting, baking, endless hours in the candle shop, the good times that have been had there and stories shared while working (and not just with Joe, many others have participated in the last two+ years). All of the ideas and inspiration that hit me when I'm in that space. It's special.

Today as I pour (love into the) candles I'll be listening to a good book- I'm not sure which one yet (suggestions are welcome!) Something that makes me feel warm and cozy, like Little Women or another good classic. I hope that your travels are safe, your day amazing, and you are blessed with love and peace.

We have everything from butt naked to bacon. – Joe Beckley Our sign was stolen off the front of our booth this year at Festival of the Little Hills. I was upset about it at first because of its sentimental value. Joe and I had made that sign. And then I thought… it’s not Joe; it’s a sign. And decided to change the way I was looking at it. I imagined a couple of very intoxicated, deviant boys up to no good devising a way to make off with it without being caught. And it made me laugh. I imagined Joe watching them and laughing too! (Though he would’ve found no humor in stealing it!) We’ve had so much fun with the sign over the years! There have been many questions, conversations, and photos about and around the sign. Amanda and I photo bombed as many as we could this year when we saw someone posing in front of it. That was fun! The sign was Joe’s idea, and a great one at that! I hope that wherever it hangs now there’s still plenty of good conversation and people surrounding it. I only hope Joe is (oops… ISN’T) nearby “taunting” them, and that they have as much fun with it as we did! 👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Erin and I made a new one.
